Energy Farming

Green Leaf Energy utilizes wasteland, that is otherwise unused, and vast human resources which are available in rural area by developing Pongamia pinnate-based biofuel plantations.

Pongamia plant has been chosen as our biofuel crops due to its indigenous property to the area and its ability to be grown on wasteland. By growing it on wasteland, it increases the land’s water storage capability and in turn increases its cultivability. Once the seeds are produced, extraction of oil for biofuel will be done.

A shift towards renewable energy from fossil fuel is clearly noticeable in today’s global landscape. Not only providing energy security and supporting sustainable development, clean energy generation also assists the ever-increasing electrification in many developing countries. Green Leaf Energy is supporting that movement to ensure a more sustainable development and a brighter future of India.
